How can I prove that I have no taxable income?

OK, first of all, what have you been living on?

Can you prove the source of your rent - and that it isn’t taxable?

• Did it come from Social Security?
• From Supplemental Security Income?
• From family or friends?
• Or are you living with family or friends?

You’re living somewhere, eating, keeping cool – or warm, depending on the season, and you are clothed. How is that funded?

So, prepare to show the source of your support.

Next, file a Form 4506-T with the IRS to request copies of all income sources that they have information on.

• Check Box 7 - Box 7 requests proof from the IRS that you haven't filed a tax return.
• Check Box 8 - Box 8 will request a a printout of all the W-2s and 1099s issued under your Social Security Number.
